काठमाडौं । नव–नियुक्त शिक्षा मन्त्री महाबुर पुनले मन्त्री पद सम्हालेपछि पहिलो पटक सार्वजनिक रूपमा अनुभव साझा गर्दै मन्त्रीको कार्यालय र आविष्कार केन्द्रबीच कुनै फरक नदेखिएको बताएका छन् । मन्त्री पुनसँग पत्रकारहरूले “आविष्कार केन्द्रमा बस्दा र अहिले मन्त्री कार्यालयमा बस्दा के फरक देख्नुभएको छ ?” भन्ने प्रश्न सोध्दा उनले जवाफमा भने, “केही फरक छैन, जिरो फरक छ । यहाँ बसेर म अब ठुलो मान्छे भए भन्ने पनि भएको छैन, त्यो आविष्कार केन्द्रको कुर्सीमा बस्दा खेरि म सानो मान्छे थिए भन्ने पनि हुँदैन । त्यसकारणले अनुभूति भन्ने कुरा मेरो लागि केही पनि फरक पर्दैन ।” उनले पद वा कुर्सीले व्यक्तिको सोच र मूल्य घट्ने–बढ्ने कुरा नहुने भन्दै सेवा र काम गर्ने दृष्टिकोण नै मुख्य हुनेमा जोड दिए । मन्त्री पुनलाई हालसालै सरकारले शिक्षा मन्त्रालयको जिम्मेवारी दिएको हो । उनी यसअघि लामो समयदेखि आविष्कार केन्द्रमार्फत नवप्रवर्तन, प्रविधि र ग्रामीण विकासका क्षेत्रमा सक्रिय रहेका थिए ।
