काठमाडौं । शिक्षा, विज्ञान तथा प्रविधि मन्त्रालयभित्र मन्त्री महावीर पुनका लागि तयार गरिएको खाने र बस्ने कोठा निकै साधारण राखिएको छ। मन्त्रालयका अधिकारीहरूको अनुसार, सरकारी खर्चमा कोठा सुसज्जित वा भव्य बनाउनुभन्दा पनि आवश्यक मात्र सुविधा राखेर साधारण ढङ्गले सजाइएको हो।
मन्त्री पुन स्वयंले पनि खर्चिलो सजावट वा विलासी सुविधा आवश्यक नभएको भन्दै साधारण कोठा पर्याप्त हुने धारणा राख्दै आएका छन्। कोठामा सामान्य फर्निचर, खानेपानीको व्यवस्था र कामकाज गर्न सकिने सहज वातावरण मात्र राखिएको छ।
यसरी मन्त्री पुनको लागि मन्त्रालयमै तयार भएको साधारण खाने–बस्ने कोठाले सरकारी खर्चमा मितव्ययिता र सरल जीवनशैलीको उदाहरण प्रस्तुत गरेको जनाइएको छ।
