काठमाडौं — “युवा पुस्ता, जान्नेलाई अवसर” भन्ने नाराले धेरैलाई जस्तै ममता शर्मालाई पनि राजनीतितर्फ तानेको थियो। मधेसमा नयाँ राजनीतिक विकल्पको रूपमा उभिएको राष्ट्रिय स्वतन्त्र पार्टी (रास्वपा) लाई संगठनात्मक रूपमा फैलाउने अग्रमोर्चामा उनी थिइन्। तर आज त्यही पार्टीसँग उनले सम्बन्ध विच्छेद गरेकी छन्।रास्वपाकी मधेस संस्थापक सभापति ममता शर्माले पार्टीको साधारण सदस्यसमेत नरहने गरी राजीनामा दिएको घोषणा गरेकी छन्। उनका अनुसार पार्टीले सार्वजनिक रूपमा गरेको प्रतिबद्धता र भित्रभित्रै अपनाइएको कार्यशैलीबीच गहिरो दूरी देखिन थालेपछि उनी यो निष्कर्षमा पुगेकी हुन्।आसन्न फागुन २१ गतेको निर्वाचन सन्दर्भमा अपनाइएको उम्मेदवार छनोट प्रक्रिया, निर्णय प्रणाली र आन्तरिक कार्यशैलीले पार्टी स्थापनाकालीन मूल्य र विधानको उल्लंघन गरेको उनको ठहर छ। विज्ञप्तिमा उनले पार्टीभित्र क्षमतावान कार्यकर्ताको योगदानलाई बेवास्ता गरिएको, विधि मिचिएको र सिद्धान्त व्यवहारमा लागू हुन नसकेको उल्लेख गरेकी छन्।सबैभन्दा गम्भीर आरोप भने निर्णय प्रक्रियामा आर्थिक प्रभाव हाबी भएको दाबी हो। यस्ता गतिविधिको साक्षी भएर बसिरहनु आफ्नो आत्मसम्मान र राजनीतिक मूल्यविरुद्ध हुने भन्दै उनले मौनता तोड्ने निर्णय लिएको बताएकी छन्।मधेसका आठ जिल्लामा पार्टीलाई चिनाउने र संगठनलाई एकढिक्का बनाउने भूमिकामा रहेकी ममता शर्माको बहिर्गमनलाई रास्वपाका लागि केवल एक राजीनामाभन्दा ठूलो राजनीतिक संकेतका रूपमा हेरिएको छ। यसले पार्टीभित्रको आन्तरिक लोकतन्त्र र निर्णय प्रक्रियामाथि नयाँ प्रश्न खडा गरेको छ।
